Online Policy

Terminology: all classes, lessons, series, workshops, seminars, courses, special events, retreats, private lessons, one-on-one coaching, programs, are called "TRAININGS".

 

Online Trainings: all trainings have a minimum of participants required which will be specified in the training you purchase.

Conduct: all trainings are built on the premise that all participants will be civil and respectful to others within the community. Inappropriate conduct, including but not limited to harassment, sexual or explicit comments, aggressive behavior, intent to embarrass, humiliate, threaten, or harass other students, training staff, administrators, or another intentional mistreatment of members or staff will result in suspension, or cancellation of training. Angeles Chanaha reserves the right to refuse and/or cancel the participation of students who violate these community standards. If you would like to report another user for abuse of this policy, please submit an email to AngelesChanaha@gmail.com explaining the situation and we will investigate. 

Dress code: wear comfortable clothes. Dance shoes or dance sneakers are ok, socks are ok too.

Appointments: please be on time for your training. Try to arrive 15 minutes before so you have time to get ready and the class can start and finish on time. Be mindful that there are other classes and students before and after you.


Re-schedule: if you are scheduled for a private lesson or one-on-one coaching and can not take your training on time, you can reschedule it within the same week. Please notify your instructor at least 48hs in advance so we can find another time slot for you.

Cancellations: if you wish to cancel an existing appointment for a private lesson or one-on-one coaching, you must let us know at least 48 hours in advance by email: AngelesChanaha@gmail.com. If you cancel within 48hs prior to your class, the class will be deducted from your package.

Refund policy: all trainings are not refundable unless we did not meet the minimum amount of students required 48 hours before the starting date in which case you will have the option of Signing for another date or a full refund.  

If you purchased a training and you want to pass it to someone else, you can do so by informing us at least 48 hours prior to the starting date and providing us with the name and contact information of your such person/s.

Expiration: all training purchases expire 6 months after the date of your purchase. Please make sure you take your training within six months of your purchase.

Medical: if you have a pre-existent medical condition please send us a note from your doctor and explain the situation so we can inform your instructor/s. Our trainings might require standing for at least 60 minutes, possibly loud environments, self-direction, and healthy and emotionally stable interpersonal interactions, and also require extended periods of focus and attention. Being in good health may be important to participate well and realize the full potential of such events. Please consult your physician before beginning any extended period of activity or taking our Training or attending a live event. By signing up, You represent that your health and mental wellness will not interfere with Angeles Chanaha classes, your Training, others’ training, or live events.

 

Dance lessons are for the purpose of entertainment only. There are tons of research done on the benefits of dancing and it will certainly bring you joy, but we are not a medical institution.

 

Prices for private lessons are for one person or two people maximum. If you have a party of 3 people or more please ask for a special rate.
